From Struggle to Success
The Journey of Building Muscles and Losing Weight
In our quest for physical fitness, a considerable number of people often encounter obstacles. Many struggle to find the right balance between building muscle and losing weight. Either we exhaust our bodies by giving them too much resistance, leading to unnecessary injuries, or we don’t utilize the muscles to their maximum potential. Working out so hard that you can barely move the next day isn’t the way to go. This type of strenuous exercise without adequate rest results in a body that constantly healing rather than growing.
The key to overcoming this problem is to understand the underlying principles of muscle growth and weight loss. Here’s what I found out:
1. Right Resistance. You must exercise so that your specific muscle or movement is maximally energized. This means offering maximum resistant so that all possible muscle cells will be innervated. Even resisting with one finger can bring maximum results when used properly.
2. Rest Days. Muscles grow during off-days, and complete rest is crucial. This doesn’t mean doing legs one day and upper body another; it means giving the body a full day of rest to allow for maximum growth.
3. Balanced Aerobics. In terms of losing weight, don’t overdo it. Strenuous aerobics should be done on the same day as hard resistance training, with only light jogging on off days.
One way to achieve these goals is through Evans Body Gym.
